1. About Us
  1. Privé Health Management Services (UK) Ltd (Privé Health) is a company registered in England and Wales under company number: 09487544, and VAT registered under: 211 0749 52. Our registered office is Privé Health, c/o Shelley Stock Hutter LLP., 7 – 10 Chandos Street, London, W1G 9DQ.

  2. In these Terms and Conditions Privé Health Management Services (UK) Ltd may be referred to as “Privé Health”, “we”, “us” or “our”.

2. General Terms
  1. These terms and conditions govern the use of our website. By using this website you are agreeing to these terms and conditions in full. By continuing to use this site, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions in it’s entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions please do not use our website.

  2. Privé Health reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review these terms and conditions periodically and become aware of any modifications.

  3. This website uses Cookies. By using this website you are agreeing to our Cookies Policy.

  4. All services and products advertised on this website are for information purposes only and do not constitute a contractual offer. Further information can be found in our Medical Disclaimer.

  5. All prices stated on our website are indicative and may be subject to change from time to time. In the event of an incorrect price being published on the website, we maintain no obligation to provide the advice, treatment or service at such a price.

  6. Privé Health will endeavour to maintain accurate information on our website but we cannot guarantee that our information will be free from errors.

3. Payment Procedures and Cancellation Policy
  1. By booking or accepting treatment or service with a medical practitioner, you agree to pay the fee associated with that medical practitioner’s time regardless of the outcome of the consultation. Any subsequent time or treatment will incur an additional cost.

  2. When booking a treatment or service through Privé Health and it’s affiliates you will be required to make a prepayment. This prepayment represents the designated cost of the appointment to protect our medical practitioner’s time from late cancellations and non-arrival (DNA – Did Not Arrive). See section 3 for further details.

  3. Any further charges incurred during your treatment or service will require full payment immediately after the completion of the appointment.

  4. Whist all endeavours are made to protect your financial details we use a secure third party, Stripe, to collect payments. As such we cannot take any responsibility for breaches in their security.

  5. No card details are stored on any Privé a Health systems, instead we use a token-based solution which is in line with many Stripe users.

4. Cancellations / Did Not Arrive
  1. Patients are advised that in booking an appointment they are reserving clinic time exclusively for their treatment or service.

  2. Treatments and services may be cancelled without incurring a fee if more than 24 hours notice is given. You can cancel through our online booking portal, by calling 0800 246 1000 or by emailing appointments@privehealth.com.  In each case you must provide the patients full name and the time, date and location of the appointment.  Any deviation from this notice period will be notified at the time of booking.

  3. Failure to comply with the cancellation notice period will result no refund of your prepayment.

  4. If you fail to arrive for your treatment or service by the pre-agreed time and date Privé Health will not refund any prepayment.

5. Responsibility / Accountability
  1. Privé Health is a marketing and logistics agency acting on behalf of private healthcare providers and charges a fee for these services.

  2. Medical practitioners are responsible for their own clinical practice and for the advice, treatment and services they provide. Privé Health maintains no responsibility or liability for any advice health advice, treatment or services offered or undertaken.

  3. Privé Health cannot guarantee to provide an appointment on the day of a patient enquiry.

  4. From time to time a clinic may have to cancel an appointment at short notice.

  5. Privé Health accepts no responsibility if an insurer fails to settle insured patients’ costs following the provision of medical services.

  6. Allied Health Professionals are responsible for their own practice, premises, facilities and any other factors relating to the advice, treatment and service they provide.

  7. Medical treatments and services obtained through Privé Health are for true General Practitioner services and do not provide for Accident and Emergency incidents.

  8. All enquiries answered by Privé Health administrative staff are for guidance only and Privé Health will accept no responsibility for the accuracy of such information provided outside formal consultations with a clinician.

6. Code of Conduct
  1. Our staff, including those undertaking advice, treatment and appointments not directly employed by Privé Health, have the right to work in an environment free from abusive, threatening or violent behaviour. At no time will any such behaviour be tolerated.

  2. We reserve the right to refuse access to the services offered on our site to individuals who we consider to breach our code of conduct. This includes but is not limited to: those who display abusive, threatening or violent behaviour, those who do not agree to pay for their services, those who request potentially addictive or controlled drugs and those who we consider a risk to themselves or others.

  3. No refund for any prepayment will be offered in cases where patients have been refused any advice, treatment or service as a result of abusive behaviour.

7. Data Protection and Confidentiality
  1. Confidentiality of patient information is of our upmost concern. Medical information will be kept confidential and names and addresses are not made available to other organisations (except where explicitly agreed by you under a private medical insurance membership scheme, with your prior consent, to your private medical insurer who may require this information in order to pay a claim). Prive Health Management Services (UK) Ltd and our partner clinics undertake to comply with our obligations under Data Protection Legislation and recognises that Privé Health is a Data Processor as defined under section 1 of the DPA.

  2. We, Prive Health and our partner clinics, may use your data to provide you with information about goods and services that may be of interest to you. We may contact you about these by email / SMS / Telephone or Post. We will also contact you electronically to share patient surveys links which gives you the opportunity to feedback on your experience of our service. If you do not want us to use your data in this way, please contact us at info@privehealth.com.

  3. We may use anonymised aggregated medical data for quality control and research or statistical purposes. Third parties may have this information shared with them however as stated no personally identifiable information is shared. If you do not want us to use your data in this way, please contact us at info@privehealth.com.

  4. Please advise us on any change of address details in order to update your profile on our system.

8. Complaints Procedure
  1. Anyone who wishes to make a complaint should do so via email to the address info@privehealth.com. We endeavour to respond to all complaints within 24 hours.

9. Product Reviews
  1. Any reviews provided by you to Privé Health and it’s associated providers grants Privé Health royalty-free, world-wide and irrevocable licence to publish, adapt, translate and distribute your reviews. This licence also extends to the right to sub-license the review and commence an action for infringement of these rights.

  2. Your reviews must be appropriate, civil, tasteful and accord with generally accepted standards of etiquette and behaviour on the internet.

  3. You must not submit any reviews to the website that are or have ever been the subject of any threatened or actual legal proceedings or other similar complaint.

10. Force Majeure
  1. Where the performance of services under the Privé Health brand is delayed, hindered or prevented by an event or events beyond reasonable control and against which an experienced service provider could not reasonably have been expected to take precautions, Privé Health or the professional offering the service shall, on a best efforts basis, notify the Client, in writing, specifying the nature of the force majeure event and stating the anticipated delay in the performance of this service.

  2. Privé Health shall have no liability to the Client for any failure to deliver the services or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to the services provided that is caused by such an event, including without limitation strikes and other industrial disputes, extreme weather, epidemic, pandemic, terrorist incidents, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion, earthquake, windstorm, other natural disasters, war, civil war, riots or Government action preventing the delivery of the Services.

11. Intellectual Property Rights
  1. Privé Health remains the sole owner of all materials published on this website and contained within any associated materials produced by Privé Health and it’s affiliates. These materials are internationally protected by copyright legislation and treaties and all such rights are reserved by Privé Health.

  2. Any use of our materials, including the application our logo and branding must be pre-approved by a Director of Privé Health. Any unapproved application of amendment of our materials, logo or branding will be taken as a direct contravention of the copyright laws and treaties identified in clause 11.1.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
  1. Any dispute or claim in relation to these Terms and Conditions or other matters concerning Privé Health will be governed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

  2. By using this website or partaking in any business activities with us you are irrevocably accepting the application of the law of England and Wales.

3. Privé Health’s use cookies

  2. This website uses Google AdWords.remarketing service to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a booking on our site, for example using the contact form to make an enquiry. This remarketing could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page or a site in the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve advertisements based on someone’s past visits to the Privé Health website. Any data collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy. 3. Medical Advice
  1. Privé Health does not offer any clinical or medical advice. This applies to all Privé Health employees, their communications, both written and verbal, and the information contained on our website and published materials.

  2. All advice, treatment and services (including, but not limited to, prescriptions) offered by our affiliated clinics and other medical professionals is at their own liability.

Vitality Health Appt. Terms and Conditions

1. Confidentiality
  1. Please refer to our Privacy Policy on our website.

2. Fees
  1. Any fees incurred will be your personal liability; we recommend you ensure that you are familiar with our scale of fees and discuss the likely cost of investigations with the treating clinician before they are undertaken. You will also be asked to pay the GP surgery directly for any primary care treatment they undertake.

3. Insurer Cover
  1. Vitality Health provide a Vitality GP benefit limit of £100. This covers at least two consultations at a reduced rate of £45.00 as well as any primary care tests and prescriptions that the GP prescribes. You will have to make a £20 payment towards the cost of the consultation and the remaining £25 will be deducted from your benefit limit.  You will also be asked to pay the GP surgery directly for any primary care treatment they recommend and you can claim this back from Vitality Health provided that you have sufficient Vitality GP benefit limit remaining.  You are responsible for ensuring that you have sufficient benefit limit to cover the cost of any consultations or treatments.  If you are not sure you should contact Vitality Health on Individual/Personal Healthcare plans: 0345 602 3523 Business Healthcare plans: 0345 602 3437 Corporate Healthcare plans: 0345 279 8865.

  2. We will require details of a credit card / debit card to cover any fees arising in the event of a late cancellation or missed appointment charge, or should any other outstanding debts become overdue. In order to activate your card, we will take a £20.00 fee at time of booking your appointment. Should you go on to cancel your appointment (within the correct timeframes) this will be refunded to you subject to a £5.00 administration fee.

  3. We reserve the right to refuse a booking in cases where a valid credit or debit card can not be obtained.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling
  1. Please note that we reserve the right to charge fees in accordance with our cancellation policy for non-attendance and late cancellations or failure to attend appointments without notification.

  2. If you arrive after your appointment start time you may be asked to reschedule your appointment if the clinician is fully booked and cannot fit you in. Please be aware that if you are using insurer cover, your insurer will not cover late cancellations / rescheduling or DNA (Did Not Arrive) charges.

  3. The minimum notice period for cancellations and rescheduling is 24-hour before the start time of your appointment.

  4. Notice less than 24 hours or a DNA will be charged as a full consultation.

5. Payment terms
  1. Prive Health and our partner clinics policy is to require full payment at time of appointment on all services provided above the consultation fee. A valid credit or debit card will be authorised at time of booking for £20.00 which will constitute as your consultation fee contribution. Subject to available member benefit remaining, Vitality Health will pay the remaining £25.00. If you do not have available member benefit your credit or debit card will be billed for the remaining fee.

  2. Vitality Health have pre approved a number of tests for which they will (subject to available remaining member benefit) reimburse you. It is not the responsibility of Privé Health or its partner clinics to reimburse you. Privé Health and its partner clinics hold no responsibility to you, the patient, for the accuracy of which tests may be reimbursed, as these may change from time to time. You can contact Vitality Health with any questions relating to your member benefit or tests covered on Individual / Personal Healthcare plans: 0345 602 3523 Business Healthcare plans: 0345 602 3437 Corporate Healthcare plans: 0345 279 8865.

  3. To claim reimbursement, you are required to email your Privé Health receipt to vitalityGP@vitality.co.uk along with your member number.

  4. Once you have used up your remaining member benefit within a calendar year, Privé Health and our partner clinics reserve the right to charge our standard tariff of fees. Details of which can be found on our website www.privehealth.com

  5. Interest will be charged at the rate of 4% per annum above Barclays Bank’s base rate from time to time on all non payments, calculated from the date of your visit.

  6. Any further collection costs incurred by Prive Health including but not limited to, collection agencies, credit reference agencies and solicitors will be added to the final amount payable.

6. NHS GP
  1. Privé Health is unable to offer services which are available through the NHS (e.g. GP Consultations) at the clinic where you are registered as an NHS patient. It is your responsibility to ensure you comply with this requirement.

At the clinicians discretion you may be charged a cancellation or DNA (Did Not Arrive) fee if you do not arrive by the scheduled start time of your appointment.

4. Payment terms
  1. Prive Health and our partner clinics policy requires full payment at time of appointment on all services provided above any pre-paid amount.

  2. Failure to pay all monies owe at the time of appointment will incur daily interest from the date of your visit at 4% above Barclays Banks base rate from time to time.

  3. Any further collection costs incurred by Prive Health management services (UK) Ltd including but not limited to, collection agencies, credit reference agencies and solicitors will be added to the final amount payable.

5. NHS GP
  1. Privé Health is unable to offer services which are available through the NHS (e.g. GP Consultations) at the clinic where you are registered as an NHS patient. It is your responsibility to ensure you comply with this requirement.
